Yes. At Edge One Solutions, contractors can use optional professional development services, including access to training platforms. The available options and funding arrangements are agreed as part of the B2B cooperation. Pluralsight is the platform most commonly selected.
Our cooperation follows a standard B2B model and does not include paid periods when services are not provided. As an independent contractor, you are responsible for organizing your own time and deciding how to fulfil the obligations set out in the SOW.
Edge One Solutions works with multiple clients and delivers a wide range of technology projects. If your current project ends or is put on hold, we may invite you to take part in the project assignment process for another opportunity that matches your skills and availability.
There may be a period between projects when no active SOW is in place. During this time, no services are provided or invoiced. Any proposal to continue the cooperation is agreed individually with the contractor.
Yes! At Edge1S we offer flexibility - many of our projects allow for remote or hybrid work. The setup depends on the specific client and project. In practice, this can mean: fully remote work (often with distributed teams), or a hybrid model, e.g. coming to the office once a week. We always strive to find a solution that's comfortable for you and fits the needs of the project.
We share the expected duration of the client project during the project assignment process. Most of our projects are long-term, although we also offer assignments with a defined end date.
Once a project ends, Edge One Solutions may invite the contractor to take part in the project assignment process for another opportunity. As an independent contractor, you decide whether to accept the offer and continue the cooperation.
A contractor can inform their Edge1S Contact Owner that they are interested in another project. If the available scope of services matches their skills and availability, they may take part in the project assignment process. The decision to change projects and enter into a new SOW is made independently by the contractor.
After a technical interview with the Edge1S team, we usually provide feedback within 48 hours. If the interview is conducted directly with the client, the response time may vary. However, we always do our best to share the outcome of the project assignment process as quickly as possible.
At any stage of the project assignment process. We can share a sample contract with you even before you decide whether to join us.
Each contractor is assigned an Edge1S Contact Owner who oversees the contract. They support communication, help clarify matters related to the SOW, ensure an effective flow of information between the parties, and serve as the main point of contact for day-to-day cooperation.
At the same time, the contractor remains independent in the delivery of services and represents their own interests.
