Tools and technologies used

  • Challenge

FreshBooks needed a new website based on React and Gatsby, as well as a CMS adapted to the requirements of a global platform.

The biggest challenge was migrating the entire content management system to new technologies so that the website could be better optimized for SEO, usability, and the loading time of images and other content.

The project also required rebuilding the platform so that it could support several countries across America and Europe, as well as Spanish, French, and English language versions.

  • Project significance for SaaS, SEO, and global web platforms

For SaaS companies, a website is not only an information channel, but also an important part of user acquisition, market education, and international sales scaling.

The FreshBooks project shows that rebuilding the CMS and frontend layer can support SEO, performance, usability, and faster content management across multiple markets.

For organizations developing global SaaS products, similar solutions can improve content control, shorten the time needed to publish changes, and provide a more consistent user experience across language versions.
