Development of a Design System for the Global G2A.com Marketplace

G2A.com needed a comprehensive and scalable design system for a global marketplace serving more than 30 million users across 180 countries.

The key challenge was to develop reusable UI components in React using Tailwind CSS, supporting the dynamic growth of the platform and making components easy to implement across different parts of the application.

The solution had to meet WCAG accessibility requirements, work responsively, support high application performance, and be well documented for frontend teams.

Edge One Solutions supported G2A.com by providing IT specialists responsible for developing the design system and UI component library.

The scope of support included creating components in React, working with Tailwind CSS, adapting components to accessibility and responsiveness requirements, and preparing documentation in Storybook.
