PZU

Project overview

Client: PZUSector: insurance / medical servicesModel:Dedicated TeamArea: email templates / back-office / Java

Edge One Solutions supported PZU by providing IT specialists responsible for developing an email footer configurator and extending message templates used in communication related to medical services.

The project included analyzing email templates, implementing logic for automatically attaching footers, preparing a back-office configurator, and integrating with an external email delivery system.

Tools and technologies used

  • Challenge

The first stage of the project required a detailed review of all email templates that needed to be extended with appropriate footers.

The challenge was not only to add footers to existing messages, but also to prepare a mechanism that could automatically decide when and which footer should be attached to a specific email.

The solution had to take into account different communication parameters, such as age, gender, or service location, and work with an external system responsible for sending messages.

  • Scope of work by Edge One Solutions

Edge One Solutions supported PZU by providing IT specialists responsible for analyzing, developing, and implementing features related to email footers.

The scope of support included identifying templates that required modification, extending them with appropriate footers, and preparing data passed to the external email delivery system.

The team also supported the development of a back-office configurator that enables defining parameters used in the logic for automatically attaching footers to email messages.

  • Solution

Emails sent in the context of medical services will be accompanied by a footer consisting of graphics containing marketing information for the client. In order to attach these footers, an email footer configurator will be created on the back office system side. This configurator will take into account parameters such as: gender, age, place of service provision, etc.

  • Project significance for customer communication in insurance

In large insurance organizations, email communication needs to be consistent, service-context aware, and controllable at both process and system levels.

The PZU project shows that automating even a small communication element, such as an email footer, may require combining template analysis, business rules, a back-office configurator, and integration with a delivery system.

For insurance companies, similar solutions can support communication personalization, greater control over marketing content, and consistency of customer experience across digital channels.
