  • Challenges

The project required designing a process for automatic discount management for students, including real-time verification of their student status.

The key challenge was to create a system that could quickly confirm user eligibility for the program and automatically grant access to the appropriate benefits.

The solution also had to include subscription mechanisms, free delivery, partner offers, responsive websites and mobile applications adapted to younger users, as well as an admin panel for managing the program.

  • Solutions

As part of the project, a student verification process was built based on a student ID card or university email address.

After successful verification, the user receives access to a free trial period of Allegro Smart Student, free deliveries on the platform, and the benefits center.

The benefits center allows students to use coupons and offers from external partners, while the admin panel supports customer service employees in managing the process and operating the program.

  • Project significance for e-commerce and loyalty programs

Loyalty and subscription programs in e-commerce increasingly need to be tailored to specific user groups and their shopping behavior.

The Allegro Smart Student project shows how combining automatic eligibility verification, subscriptions, free delivery, and a benefits center can create a consistent experience for a selected user group.

For e-commerce companies, similar solutions can support offer segmentation, increase engagement among younger users, and develop benefit models connected with subscription programs.
