About the client
Bolt Financial Inc. is an American financial technology company that provides merchants with software that makes it easy to make online payments with a single click.
The key challenge of the project was acquiring new customers by implementing missing functionalities essential for companies considering integrating Bolt Finance solutions into their e-commerce environments.
The Edge1S team implemented the work based on specific needs expressed by users, including the ability to issue invoices directly within the application. Each new functionality had to be designed to be scalable and consistent with the existing system architecture to maintain the stability and performance of existing services.
An additional challenge was maintaining a high pace of development – necessary to meet dynamic business expectations and accelerate the growth of the number of active customers.
As part of our collaboration with Bolt Finance, the Edge1S team designed and implemented a number of new API endpoints, including a system for calculating discounts in product carts.
An automatic transaction capture mechanism (auto-capture) was also implemented for customers in the Digital Goods & Subscriptions segment, significantly streamlining the payment process and reducing the risk of operational errors.
In addition, a dedicated job was developed that extends Bolt Checkout Everywhere functionality for customers using the platform before its implementation, ensuring full compatibility and access to the new system capabilities.
