About the client
ToTeraz is a mobile app designed for quick and engaging access to video content from various media sources. The app's main idea is to display videos one after another, in full screen - similar to the experience found on platforms like Instagram Stories or TikTok, but focused on professional, editorial content. Users can not only browse through videos but also share them on social media and search for them by keyword.
The project's goal was to design and implement an application that:
- allows users to browse short video clips in one-on-one mode, with full-screen playback,
- allows for quick sharing of content directly from the tab,
- provides a built-in search engine for posts and videos by phrase or topic,
- and maintains a clear, modern interface that works intuitively even during quick browsing.
The project team created a lightweight, responsive Android app with a focus on fast loading and smooth video transitions. Key features implemented as part of the project include:
- A homepage with editorial video tabs, including title, description, publication date, and author.
- Full-screen content playback, focusing on one video at a time.
- A "Share IT NOW" button allows for instant sharing of the link to the content on social media.
- A content search engine allows filtering by phrases (e.g., "volcano," "fashion," "aviation").
- CMS integration allows editors to add and update content in real time.
