About the client
TVN is one of the largest media groups in Poland, owner of popular channels such as TVN, TVN24 and TTV, offering news, entertainment and lifestyle programs. As part of Warner Bros. Discovery, the company invests in modern technologies and high-quality productions, maintaining its position as a leader on the Polish television and online market.
The player.pl application struggled with the problem of an outdated user interface and a lack of modern functionalities that are standard in the dynamically developing Over-the-Top (OTT) market. Such limitations negatively affected the user experience (UX), limited audience engagement and reduced the application's ability to effectively compete with the competition.
The team conducted a detailed business and system analysis to understand all the needs and requirements of the project. Based on this, a coherent IT solution was designed that met these needs. Additionally, the team actively participated in the entire production process, taking care of each stage of the project until the commercialization of the refreshed service, ensuring its full readiness for introduction to the market.
