Platforma Shiji do obsługi branży hotelarskiej

Project overview

Client: Shiji GroupSector: hospitality / gastronomy / retail / entertainmentModel:IT outsourcingArea: PMS / cloud / REST API / integrations

Edge One Solutions supported Shiji Group by providing IT specialists responsible for developing a cloud-based PMS for the hospitality industry.

The project included deployment in AWS, scaling with Kubernetes, REST API, data migration mechanisms, and communication with external systems through webhooks.

Tools and technologies used

  • Challenges

Shiji Group needed to design and build a cloud-based property management system for the hospitality industry.

The key challenge was to build a solution that would be scalable, available, integrated, tailored to user needs, and aligned with cloud environment requirements.

The system had to support integration with the external environment, expose functionality through APIs, and enable data migration from existing solutions.

  • Scope of work by Edge One Solutions

Edge One Solutions supported Shiji Group by providing IT specialists responsible for developing a cloud-based PMS.

The scope of support included implementing the solution in .NET Core, running it in the AWS environment, and using Kubernetes to provide scalability.

The team also supported REST API preparation, data migration mechanisms, and communication with external systems through webhooks.

Scrum and iterative software delivery process illustrated on a laptop.
  • Solutions

As part of the project, the system was implemented in .NET Core and deployed in the AWS cloud environment.

To ensure scalability, the system runs on Kubernetes nodes. Functionality was exposed through REST API, making integration with other ecosystem elements easier.

The solution also included mechanisms for migrating data from existing systems and external communication via webhooks.

  • Project significance for hospitality and PMS systems

In hospitality, a PMS is one of the key elements of operational infrastructure because it supports property management, data flow, and integration with other solutions.

The Shiji project shows how cloud architecture, REST API, Kubernetes, and data migration mechanisms can support building a scalable system for the hospitality industry.

For companies developing hospitality solutions, a similar approach can simplify system integration, increase platform flexibility, and accelerate the development of digital services for end customers.
