About the client
G2A is a global e-commerce platform specializing in the sale of keys for computer games, software, and other digital products. The company operates on the international market, serving millions of users, offering both individual players and game developers the opportunity to sell and buy game keys. G2A also has its own security system, G2A Shield, which is designed to protect transactions.
The team faces the challenge of creating a comprehensive and scalable design system for the global marketplace G2A.com, serving over 30 million users from 180 countries. The key task is to develop reusable UI components in React using Tailwind CSS, which will support the dynamic development of the platform. The challenge includes ensuring full accessibility (WCAG) and responsiveness of the components, allowing their easy implementation and adaptation in different parts of the application. The team must also take care of the documentation of the components in Storybook, which improves cooperation between front-end teams and shortens the time of integration of new features. An important aspect is maintaining high application performance and optimizing the code for testability and compliance with the latest UX/UI standards.
The team delivers a scalable UI component library in React built on Tailwind CSS that meets the highest standards of accessibility and responsiveness. The library includes both basic UI elements such as buttons and form fields, as well as advanced components such as modal windows and product cards. The components are thoroughly documented in Storybook, making them easy to use by other development teams.
