About the client
Respect Energy S.A. is a Polish energy company specializing in the production, trade, and sale of electricity derived 100% from renewable energy sources (RES), such as solar, wind, water, and biogas. It operates in both the domestic and international markets, offering comprehensive services to business and individual clients.
Respect Energy implements projects related to energy generation, sales, and trading. The infrastructure team is responsible for the creation, maintenance, and development of cloud and on-premise environments, including authorization, cross-system integration, data backup, and DRC.
Recently, key challenges have included ensuring business continuity and security, as well as modernizing and optimizing infrastructure costs. Key tasks included launching new on-premise platforms based on the Proxmox cluster and implementing a centralized system monitoring platform that automatically notifies users of detected irregularities.

The team implemented cloud environments in Azure for the company's internal systems in IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and serverless models. A VM and LXC platform based on a Proxmox cluster and an on-premises LLM system were also developed.
Automated patch management for virtual machines was implemented, fully integrated via Azure Arc, streamlining update management and increasing system security. DRC mechanisms cover the company's critical systems, ensuring fault tolerance and rapid recovery.
