About the client
Lubelscy Kupcy is an interactive mobile app that transports users to the realities of 19th- and 20th-century Lublin. The game is based on geolocation, field tasks, and the stories of local merchants and places that have played an important role in the urban fabric for decades. The app allows you to "rediscover Lublin" by walking, completing tasks, earning points, and learning about the city's history.
The goal was to create an app that:
- encourages users to explore the city through physical activity and interact with its history,
- combines education with entertainment in an engaging, light-hearted way,
- uses the map and the user's position to guide them to specific points (e.g., former barbershops, textile shops, historic shopping malls),
- allows users to earn points and compete, thus increasing motivation to complete the game.

The implemented application provides users with the following functionalities:
- "Log in and choose a historical route," which you will navigate according to the application's prompts.
- Tasks assigned to specific points on the map, triggered upon reaching the appropriate location.
- Participant ranking, which displays points and user progress.
- Time and location as a factor in assessing task completion – the faster and more accurately, the more points.
- A system of hints and descriptions that provide an accessible overview of local history, architectural style, and former functions of buildings.
