About the client
Body Watch is a mobile app integrated with the Microsoft Band, enabling users to comprehensively monitor over 10 vital signs in real time. The system is designed for physically active individuals, patients under medical care, and users who want to better understand their body based on biometric data.
The project's goal was to develop a solution that:
- allows for continuous and accurate monitoring of health data such as heart rate, step count, skin temperature, and galvanic skin response (GSR),
- enables clear, real-time data presentation,
- provides the user with access to a complete measurement history with the option to export it,
- operates stably via Bluetooth connection to wearable devices (Microsoft Band),
- enables the management of sensitive data securely and in accordance with best user experience practices.
The development team created a lightweight and functional app, equipped with:
- User dashboard broken down by week, day, and measurement session
- Detailed screens for each parameter, such as: Heart rate, UV exposure, Skin temperature, Calories
- Ambient light, GSR, altimeter, accelerometer, contact sensors
- Graphical visualizations (charts) showing trends and min/max/average values
- Ability to export measurement data in text format or to an external system
- Manual and automatic data collection modes, with the option to clear data
