About the client
Booksy is a Polish technology company specializing in providing applications for booking services in the beauty and wellness industry. Its platform allows customers to book appointments online, and salon owners to manage reservations and schedules.
The project team had to integrate the new e-commerce module with the existing warehouse management system, which required data centralization and process synchronization. The "Warehouse" module managed the purchase, monitoring of stocks, consumption and sale of the service provider's resources. Adding the e-commerce module required ongoing updating of stocks so that the products sold were always available in the right quantity and quality.
Our team has introduced an e-Commerce module based on a microfrontend application, which can be used both in the main desktop application (browser) and in native applications for Android and iOS. The module allows you to search for products, add them to the cart, and complete the order and payment. What's more, purchased products are automatically added to the existing warehouse, which eliminates the need to manually enter this information, as was previously the case when purchasing from other sources.
