The project included integrating the sales module with the existing inventory system, synchronizing product and stock data, and supporting purchases in desktop and mobile applications.

    Booksy needed to integrate a new e-commerce module with the existing inventory management system.

    The inventory module handled purchasing, stock monitoring, usage, and sales of service provider resources, so adding online sales required data centralization and process synchronization.

    The key challenge was to update stock levels continuously so that products offered for sale were available in the right quantity and quality while reducing the need for manual data entry.

  • Scope of work by Edge One Solutions

    Edge One Solutions supported Booksy by providing IT specialists responsible for developing the e-commerce module.

    The scope of support included preparing a microfrontend-based solution that could be used in the main desktop application as well as native Android and iOS applications.

    The team also supported integration of the module with the inventory system so that purchased products were automatically added to the existing system and updated processes related to service provider resources.

  • Solution

    As part of the project, an e-commerce module based on a microfrontend application was created.

    The module enables product search, adding products to the cart, placing orders, and processing payments within the Booksy ecosystem.

    Purchased products are automatically added to the existing inventory, eliminating the need for manual information entry and supporting data consistency between sales and resource management.
