Thanks to our broad client portfolio, we have the flexibility to quickly match you with a new assignment.
If a short transition period between projects does occur (commonly known as being “on the bench”), it’s not fully paid - since no hours are reported to the client during that time.
That said, we always approach each case individually, aiming to find the best possible solution - both for the team and for you.
We don't have a fixed limit on unpaid leave - it all depends on individual arrangements. Each request is discussed with your manager or the client-side team lead, taking into account the specifics of the project. We value flexibility, but we also prioritize transparency and continuity in our collaboration.
Yes, Edge One Solutions provides its employees with development opportunities through access to learning platforms and training. We currently offer collaboration in the classic B2B model - without paid time off. It’s not possible to include paid vacation in the contract, but we take a flexible approach to time off planning. Everyone can schedule their vacation after discussing it with their Manager - there’s no fixed limit on the number of days, and we adjust the schedule based on the situation and individual needs. We want you to truly rest and maintain a healthy work-life balance - even within a classic B2B setup.

There may occasionally be a so-called “bench” period - a short time without an assigned project. While this time isn’t paid, you can take advantage of company training, support other teams, or prepare for your next assignment.

Yes! At Edge1S we offer flexibility - many of our projects allow for remote or hybrid work. The setup depends on the specific client and project. In practice, this can mean: fully remote work (often with distributed teams), or a hybrid model, e.g. coming to the office once a week. We always strive to find a solution that's comfortable for you and fits the needs of the project.
In most projects, you can count on flexible working hours - the exact rules depend on the client and the nature of the project. We aim to align working with your preferences and personal life - as long as it fits within the client's collaboration model.
At Edge One Solutions, we provide equipment tailored to the project – so you can work comfortably and without interruptions.
Typically, this includes:
- a high-performance laptop (Windows or MacBook – depending on the project),
- an additional monitor or two – if needed,
- accessories – mouse, keyboard, and everything else essential for your work.
In some cases, the setup may depend on specific client requirements, but we always make sure you have the right tools at your disposal.

We care about making sure everyone feels comfortable and satisfied with where they work.
As a rule - no, we don’t expect overtime. Projects are planned to be delivered within regular working hours.
In exceptional situations (e.g. major deployments, system outages), overtime may occur, but:
- it’s agreed upon in advance,
- it’s additionally paid (at a rate specified in your contract).
On-call duties? These are rare and usually limited to projects requiring 24/7 support (such as in finance or e-commerce). If they are needed, we inform you in advance and clearly define the terms.
After the technical interview with the Edge1S team, you can usually expect feedback within 48 hours.
If the interview is conducted directly with the client, the response time may vary - but we always do our best to make sure feedback is provided as quickly as possible.
At every stage of the recruitment process - if you'd like, we can share a sample contract with you even before you make a decision to join us.
Yes - at Edge1S, your Service Delivery Manager (SDM) takes on this role. This is the person who:
- represents your interests with the client,
- ensures that the terms of collaboration are in line with what was agreed,
- monitors the project and your level of involvement,
- takes part in evaluation meetings and provides you with regular feedback.
You have support at every stage of the project - both technically and in terms of the relationship.
